opening reflections on (the sin of?) Satan-hatin'

For Satan-hatin’ sin theology

(unorthodox and faithless
right to hate
and systematic ignorance
that but to hatred
hate and leave's true faithful
good)

high mountains fall
and valleys fill
and roads align;
but barren all:
what naked shame.

What heart fulfilled
true peace divine
can muster room for any hate
and sign off love,
except in legion daemons’ name?

What idol Satan worship.

Faith unloads—
at least faith ought—
the understood excuse
to love withhold
on grounds of what is evil known.

But Satan loved’s the gate of grace
complete for anthropology.
