You are welcome to expand your verse into other forms as well.
All poetic writing forms are welcome!

>Connecting Branches – Our Jam Theme
A stream of haiku
runs through a forest of words.
We branch out to touch.

>Who?
You, who are connected by root words.
You who await spring and it's buds and blooms.
You who want to unite your insights with
the insights of others. You, who understand the
value of simplicity and clarity. You who's pen
cannot help but create a timberland of words
twig by twig, leaf by leaf, since one of your
your chief affections is connection.

>When?
For 24 hours! Starting tomorrow ....
Friday February 17th 3PM EST (12 noon PST)
until - Saturday, February 18th 3PM EST (12 noon PST)

>Where?
at Studio Eight dot TV
http://studioeight.tv/phpbb
In the Jam Session Forum
http://studioeight.tv/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=22

>Why?
Because words which
connect with other words can
bear fruit. Because words which
unite can flower and offer the power
to proliferate, to agitate, to conjugate,
to procreate! Why?
Because it will be great!
That's why.

>What?
Never been to a Word Jam? Word Jams are a series
of ongoing collaborative spontaneous writing events hosted by
Studio Eight dot TV – http://studioeight.tv/phpbb

>BYOM
Bring Your Own Muse
or get inspired by the muse of others.

>Notes on Using Haiku During this Event
Many of us were taught that the haiku form of poetry
has 17 syllables divided among three lines. But this is
only a starting point.

Simply put, haiku represents a glimpse
of time and life in a short poem.

Please feel free to use the haiku form of poetry during this Jam.
You are welcome to expand your verse into other forms as well.

>Hope to see you there!
