on the last few minutes of La Mer

Post by Totenkopf »

The Sea.

That's English for La Mer.

Claude Debussy wrote a piece of music

and used that as a "title."

Pumped across the SlutMarts of the Ewe Ess

it would unlikely cause any cream to glow

or appeal to many hardworking hobos--

and muzak it ain't, or wasn't until

Ho-wood got a hold of Claude's corpse

and spammed in those shimmering

cadences across ads and the latest aphroditic

hustle----commodified like any french

fop product. The last few minutes------

there are "adjectives" ------

one could attach like a

McGovern button to it;

ssssssssssssss

sublime, the dialogue of

wind and waves;

modifiers to describe

an event

aka the Sun

merci boo-coo.

Poet I am not rilly, but prose machine, clever when needed. La Mer, at least a few sections: C'est poesie. (and do we aesthetes go with phrench or Deutsch? A Big issue--or Russkis perhaps (Scriabin fer example wrote musick for the death of the sun). Claude at times offends, but then so doth Bachhoven....... )

the McGovern reference, though, hath done dated me...
